How FocusFlight plans, checks, and maintains published guides.

FocusFlight publishes practical guidance about focus routines, productivity tools, timer design, work and study sessions, ambient sound, and the FocusFlight product. Haitao Shi, Founder of FocusFlight, is the named writer and editor responsible for this content.

How we choose topics

Topics must fit the product's purpose and answer a clear question about planning, starting, sustaining, or ending a focused work or study session. We prioritize subjects that can be explained with practical steps and without promises that a timer cannot support.

Fact checking

Before publication, factual claims are checked against the cited material. Dates, names, links, and descriptions of a source are checked for consistency with that source. Claims are narrowed or removed when the available evidence does not support them.

Source standards

We prefer original research, official guidance, and first-party documentation when they are available and relevant. Reputable secondary sources may be used for background or explanation. Published guides list the sources they cite, and we do not add a citation that was not used in the article.

Product consistency

Claims about FocusFlight are checked against the live FocusFlight timer. Instructions should describe functions that are available to visitors, and product wording is updated when the timer changes. Our testing policy explains this process.

AI-assisted tools

AI-assisted tools may be used during research or drafting. Every published guide is reviewed for factual accuracy, product consistency, source quality, and usefulness by the FocusFlight editor.

Corrections and updates
